Power distribution cables

Our low voltage power cables, rated at 0.6/1 kV, are designed for the distribution of electrical energy in industrial facilities, including power supply for machinery and production lines, as well as for distribution within overhead utility networks, such as the HEP grid in Croatia or other similar infrastructure networks.

These power cables are available in both single-core and multi-core configurations, with conductors made of copper (Cu) or aluminum (Al). Single-core cables feature conductors ranging from 1.5 to 16 mm² in solid round construction, and from 10 to 630 mm² in stranded round form. Multi-core cables can include round or sector-shaped conductors, with cross-sectional areas ranging from 10 to 300 mm². Depending on the application, cables may also be equipped with a concentric conductor or a copper wire screen or copper tape screen.

For insulation and sheathing are used PVC, PE, XLPE, and LS0H. PVC is the most commonly used due to its excellent mechanical properties. XLPE is preferred for applications with higher thermal demands, allowing conductor operating temperatures of up to 90°C. LS0H materials are used for cables with special fire performance requirements, offering low smoke emission and non-corrosive gas release during combustion, which contributes to greater safety in critical conditions.

For the distribution of electrical energy in overhead networks, we utilize self-supporting bundled cables. These overhead installation cables are available with conductors made of aluminum (Al) or aluminum alloys (AlMgSi) and are insulated with XLPE material, ensuring high reliability and long-term performance in outdoor environments.
