At Eurocable Group d.o.o. we firmly believe that sustainability is an integral part of responsible business.

Our environmental policy is built on the principles of ecological responsibility, energy efficiency, and social accountability with a clear goal: to deliver high-quality products while protecting the environment and the communities in which we operate. We manage our facilities, processes, and raw materials with a commitment to meeting or exceeding all relevant environmental regulations and standards. By doing so, we minimize environmental risks and contribute to the well-being of all stakeholders.

Ecologically responsible production

Our business model is focused on managing processes and resources in a way that meets and exceeds all relevant ecological regulations and standards. We have structured our production to minimize health risks for employees, reduce environmental impact and support community members’ well-being. In line with this commitment, our operations are fully compliant with the ISO 14001:2015 standard, which affirms the effectiveness of our environmental management system.

Energy Consumption Management

Electricity use in our production makes up over 90% of total energy use which makes energy efficiency a strategic priority for us. We implement a wide range of measures to reduce energy consumption including:

Implementation of LED lighting
Automated maximum power control
Medium-voltage power intake for increased efficiency

These measures directly contribute to reducing our carbon footprint, making our production eco-friendlier.

Our short-term objective is implementing ISO 50001 Energy Management standard and in that way accomplish energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption and minimize our negative environmental impact.

Water Stewardship

Water stewardship is the fundamental part of our policy. Use of recirculating cooling systems and adiabatic heat exchangers enable us to reuse water and significantly reduce fresh water consumption. Through these measures we actively contribute to water resources preservation.

Recycling and Waste Management

In everyday production we recycle:

over 95% of copper waste
approximately 90% of polymer waste

This approach enables us to minimize landfill waste while also reducing the need for new raw materials, further preserving natural resources and cutting emissions associated with production.

Responsibility towards Community

As a socially responsible company we actively take part in educational, social and ecological initiatives with emphasis on rising awareness about energy efficiency, aiming to contribute to long-term sustainability of the community through education.
