Sustainability and Responsible Business Practices

At Eurocable Group d.o.o. we firmly believe that long-term success is built on a foundation of responsible, sustainable and transparent business practices. By embracing ESG principles (Environmental, Social and Governance) we embed environmental care, social responsibility, and sound corporate governance into every aspect of our organization.

In developing our sustainability strategy, we are guided by the core principles of ESG. Our goal is to integrate our existing efforts across environmental, social, and governance areas into a unified approach that supports the achievement of long-term sustainable objectives.

Environmental

Environmental Stewardship

Our environmental sustainability strategy will be focused on reducing the negative impact of our operations by using eco-friendly materials and optimizing resource efficiency through these initiatives:

  • Active reduction of CO₂ emissions, waste and energy consumption through the adoption of energy efficient technologies
  • Use of recycled components and halogen-free cables to support safer and cleaner infrastructure
  • Over 95% of waste is recycled on-site
  • Optimization of water and electricity usage by using closed-loop recirculation system

Social

Social Stewardship and DEI

Caring for our employees, supporting local communities, and promoting social equity will be core components of our ESG strategy. Our key focus areas include:

  • Promoting diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) at all organizational levels – every employee has the right to respect, support and equal opportunities
  • Creating a safe and supportive workplace with continuous investment in skill and knowledge development of our employees
  • Participating in initiatives which promote education, youth employment and local community development

Through open dialogue and a culture of belonging we will build a workplace where every person is empowered to contribute and reach their full potential.

Governance

Responsible Management

Governance in Eurocable Group d.o.o. is based on ethics, transparency and accountability towards all stakeholders:

  • We obey strict rules of corporate governance while actively fighting corruption
  • We regularly report to our stakeholders on business performance, financial matters and sustainability issues
  • In business relationships we uphold the highest standards of professionalism and legal compliance
  • From our suppliers and business partners we expect the same high criteria in terms of environment, safety and social responsibility
  • We are signatories of the Collective Agreement and the Code of Ethics established by the Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK).
